Former UAAP MVP and NU Bulldog Bobby Ray Parks Jr. will be a part of the NLEX Road Warriors in the PBA D-League Foundation Cup, which begins on Monday.

The news was confirmed by Parks’ agent Charlie Dy, which means the Fil-Am player will team up with other talented standouts like Garvo Lanete and Kevin Alas.

In the prior conference of the league, Parks suited up for the BDO-NU Bulldogs.

Furthermore, NLEX also submitted a formal request to the PBA not long ago, asking to move up to the association’s pro league. If the Road Warriors’ request is accepted, Parks could become the team’s direct-hire recruit. If that’s the case, then the former collegiate superstar will get to skip the PBA Draft.

NLEX, which begins its Foundation Cup campaign against Blackwater Sports, is gunning for its sixth PBA D-League championship.
